The last spot in our list was the Craggy Gardens Falls.
According to blueridgeheritage.com:
"Craggy Gardens, just north of Asheville, North Carolina, is one of the most dramatic viewpoints on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Stunning vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains stretch far into Tennessee to the west and toward central North Carolina to the east. These views can be enjoyed from the parking area near the Craggy Gardens Visitor Center and along nearby hiking trails."

It was May 3rd, Springtime, and we had seen flowers blossoming everywhere, so we thought it was the perfect time of the year to visit this spot.
When we got there the guy at the Visitors Center told us that it was closed and that, at that altitude, flowers blossom from July on.
We had no idea that there were mountains all around us. Back home I made a Google search and couldn't believe what the fog had hidden.
