After scrapping these photos that I took in April 2011 while visiting New Orleans, Louisiana, I realized that this layout was created in excellent timing with the bi-centennial celebration of the Battle of New Orleans in 1815. This battle was led and won by Major General Andrew Jackson, the USA's 7th President. Jackson Square is situated in front of the majestic St. Louis Cathedral.
