Give a Cheer
These are photos from Halloween night 2009 of my dd, Cassie, and my collie, Lexie, with the backs of their heads touching while they sleep. I love these photos - they were taken 10 days before Lexie died. Journaling says: When Cassie got home from the Halloween party, she was so tired, she fell asleep in front of the fire with Lexie.
This is my example for my January Four Categories Challenge - Category Two ~ Color: Neutrals. I used only shades of brown and cream with a touch of black. There's a piece of coppery brown ribbon in the lower left for the twist.
This is for the January Music Challenge - Lyrics. My title comes from the song My Dog and Me by John Hiatt. I used rub-ons to pull out the part of the lyric I wanted for the title, and I wrote the rest of the line on the title block. It says: We're fast asleep by the fire side dreamin' these dreams for free. It's just my dog & me.
I did the embossing twist - I dry embossed a houndstooth pattern on the two small cream circles, and I stamped and heat embossed then cut out the date strip.
I used a February 2014 PageMap.
