Journalling reads: On the way home from Weight Watchers they saw they were digging up the road, we decided that rather than risk using the diversion of going out into the busy road, we would use an alternative route home. Somehow that went from it adding a few extra minutes to the journey, to the kids managing to talk me into a trip to Burger King for chicken nuggets and cheeseburgers and then begging to ride the rides outside Tesco. Sometimes it’s just easier to say yes to the requests that seem silly than deal with the tantrum or whinging if you say no, it’s sad but true some days you just have to pick your battles. Pretty funny how it’s almost always these random unplanned moments that they end up enjoying the most, one small added bonus the extra distance we walked helped me smash my daily steps goal with my Fitbit.
