Last fall we went to the large Kurbis (pumpkin) festival in Ludwigsburg. Every year they have a different theme, in 2014 it was royalty. They use thousands of pumpkins in the month long fest in sculptures, carvings and food items. We enjoyed looking at all the displays, tried pumpkin spaghetti, soup, lasagna, burgers and wine. Also purchased many pumpkin goodies to take home (jelly, liquor, pesto, honey, candy and more).
