This is my lo for the *FEBRUARY* SCRAP YOUR PET/ANIMAL and includes the TWIST of using a heart on the page. My hearts are the "o" in Front and the doily near the burlap flower.
This lo is about a frog(?) that lived on our porch for several months last spring/summer. It would scare me when I was watering the plants, because it would jump out of the pot! LOL
My lo was inspired by the sketch found here:
My paper choices for this were a bit of a surprise to me. I was looking to see if I had any froggish pps and ran across these two "animal prints"...the black/green made me think of jungle/grass and the other pp resembled the frog's pattern (to me, anyway). I used my border punch and a striped pp to make the strip near the top...it reminds me of porch railing, even though mine looks nothing like that! LOL The zig-zaggy pp made me think of a frog jumping. The burlap flower just seemed like it had to be on this page!
