Very cute! I love the way the invitation blends into the bg. In the past, I've covered letters with a glue like Quickie glue and sprinkled ultra fine glitter on them to make my own glitter letters. I get the Silhouette not doing well with glitter pp - I've had the same disappointment with my Cricut.
This is for the Four Categories Challenge: Category 1 - Sequins. There are sequins here and there on the LO, in the purple-gold-green color scheme. There are also photos of sequins in DH's and my hats. :)
The twist is glitter; I used glitter CS to mat the photo of DH and me, the king cake photo and the invitation. There is also glitter on the purple mask on the RH page. (That piece was cut from a Mardi Gras party necklace!)
So glad this one is done! It took forever to figure out what to do with the title. I wanted soooo badly to cut the title from glitter cardstock, but it wasn't happening. So I did a black title on white, which doesn't look horrible since the lettering on the invitation is white. I think the sequins give it some interest.
More pages to come, since I have TONS from this party. Thanks for looking!
