I always do monthly summary pages in my albums as an overview and to include random odds and ends, if I have any, that won't fit on other LO's. For 2010, I settled on a much, much simpler concept than the themes I used for '08, '09, and '13 because I find I get burned out doing 12 similar elaborate LO's. (You can see the themes I used for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2013, as well as the others for 2010 in my gallery in the Month LO's album.) I am adapting an idea from an old Creating Keepsakes Magazine article for these 2010 monthly LOs.

My photos here are either extras from LOs where they wouldn't fit, or random photos that I don't want to do individual LO's for. I wrote the dates and info, if necessary, next to each photo. On the left: a selfie of me after a hair appt, a shot of one of my arborvitae in the snow, my backyard, my Yorkie's paw prints in the snow on my patio, a print hanging in my front entry, and my dd and my Yorkie on the couch. On the right: a friend's birth announcement and a random shot of my dog. Around the edge of the right page, I wrote our schedule/calendar info from the month. I also made a tag for some additional info and tucked it behind the picture block on the right. The little journaling block near the bottom lists the book I read that month as part of my project to read the 100 Greatest Books Ever Written. I added a couple brads and did some doodled stitching on the circles and around the block on the right.

The original birth announcement was too big to fit the design here, so I scanned it and reprinted it as a 4x6 to fit my page.

This is for the VLB Challenge to do a time themed LO.
