My dd was the assistant teacher for two dance classes at her studio for the 2010-11 dance year. These photos are from June 2011 at the dress rehearsal for the younger of those classes. The little girls danced to Alamuhan performed by Twelve Girls Band - it's a Chinese folk song. They had the prettiest little purple and gold tutus, and they used fans. :) Cassie and the teacher are getting them set up on the stage in three of the photos, and they are doing a run through in one with my dd down in front of the stage doing it with them. To point her out, since the picture is pretty dark, I used a metal arrow and brad on the photo. During the show, she did the dance in the wings where the audience couldn't see her, but the girls could if they got stuck remembering the choreography. Journaling says: Level 3 Tap & Ballet Tuesdays 4:30pm Miss Kim Assistant: Miss Cassie 4:00 Matinee
The lower left corner of the bg pp has a saying printed on it that didn't fit my LO, but the colors were perfect, so I wanted to use it anyway. I put the flower cluster over the words, and I like the way it turned out with the printed flowers showing around the edges. The 3 music print flowers and the vines are an embellie I got from my friend Eileen (ncyankee). I LOVE it. I added the orange and dark purple flowers to cover up the rest of the words that were showing. I cut the title on my Cricut with the Lyrical Letters 2 cart I got for Christmas from my parents.
