Jnlg is on tag in envelope and reads,"We decided to hike the Pipiwai trail through the bamboo forest on Maui and stopped off to check out the 7 sacred pools first. We got part way there and it started to rain. Since it was late in the afternoon and there had been heavy rain forecast we decided to turn around and head home. We were covered in mud but just made it to the car before it really started to pour. The journey along a windy road with picturesque waterfalls along the edge of the road became a nightmare journey on the return. So much rain in so little time turned the waterfalls into raging torrents, spilling over the bridges and knocked rocks onto the roadway. It was almost impossible to see through the windscreen, the rain was so thick. We inched our way along the treacherous bendy road till we finally made it home - a pretty scary adventure - but we still plan to check out the bamboo forest next time."
