I know what you mean about stacking challenges getting the juices flowing - and you sure got yours going. This is a fabulous lo - the red really packs a wow and the pen work you did enhances it beautifully.
What great photos! Love the red and how you did the title. That arrow is really eye catching! I love stacking multiple challenges too. It fun to see how creative you can get!
Great red usage on this. Like the strips of hearts on this. Like too the use of the circles and the way you did the year complete with the arrow that matches the middle strip.
Yep, now I am singing the song in my head. :) Love this bright red lo! I love the arrow and I like that it is the same paper as the banner. I like the inking on the journaling as well.
What a great title. I added this to my favorites for ideas as 2 of my grands graduate this year. Love the entire look of the 2 page spread. You used so many fun techniques. Love this.
WOW, that was a lot of extra work!!! But, it was worth it! I understand using a LO in many challenges.... It does push you. Love the title and everything else! Fave
I did this one for several challenges: *April Monochrome - #3 Red w/ Twist. My Lot of something on the LO is all the outlining and penwork. Nearly everything is outlined with a black fine point pen or sharpie. The small black stamped journaling words are filled in with a silver sharpie. The hearts are outlined with black pen and the faux stitching is sharpie. I also didn't like the color of the red pattern paper, so went over the lines to make them a better matching red. *Scrap with your scraps w/ twist. - The pattern paper and red CS for title and clear sticker mats are all scraps. *Volume Challenge #8-9/120 *March-April Hoarders - The Arrow on Right side of page is covered chipboard from my stash. *April 2 Pg Sketch challenge - This was a perfect sketch for these photos! *Music Challenge - #2 w/ Twist- Title is the name of a song. Which is an awful song when you read the lyrics, but I liked the name for a page title. *Cricut Challenge - The title is cut with CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge. *Sticker Challenge w/ twist - The "2014" is a sticker I picked up last year with some graduation stuff. I added foam underneath for dimension. It was 4 different colors, but went over the numbers with a red sharpie to make them a bit more monochromatic. All of the word phrases on the Left page are clear stickers on red CS w/ foam underneath. *Use your stamps Challenge - The background behind the journaling phrases is stamped with distress ink, then wiped with baby wipe to turn the white CS more of a red shade. The silver / black small words are stamped with a dollar spot alpha set. I stamped over the title and photo corners before adhering them with a texture print stamp to add a subtle design to them.
Phew! I think that's it. One of the things I like best, is seeing how many challenges I can combine. Really boosts my creativity.
