What a beautiful and tender page. I love the idea of keeping the other photo tucked away for just family and close friends. So sorry for your loss. It's sad that many of my photos of relatives are taken when we gather for a funeral. You have done a wonderful job on this.
D/h and his brothers at their mom's funeral. There is a pullout behind the photo that contains a photo of her casket. I knew it should be preserved, but I also knew that she would rather keep it private.
The journaling reads: "Thelma's three remaining sons, Alan, Elwin and Jay, laid their mother to rest today. Her goodness and fiery Irish spirit are gone for the moment, but I know she is waiting for us just beyond the bridge of stars."
