Give a Cheer
My Grandmother hugging a tree, why I do not know. This is from her album from the late 1910's and early 20's. Judging by the other photos on the page I am guessing this was taken around 1920 at the family farm in Illinois.

Did this with the twist of using an up cycled or recycled item- I cut the letter for Tree Hugger from hot coffee cup sleeves. Thought it was fun to use that photo of her too in honor of Earth Day.
To make the transparency in the top circle I found various definitions of tree hugger on the web.
This is also for Heritage and Sewing Challenges.
