Fabulous pic & frames. Great info on your pages. I hope that you are keeping record of your research on the backs of the LOs, or journaling about them in an index to keep with the album. Future generations may want to learn about your ancestors in this personal way. :)
This is my 2x GG Mother, Nancy Lane Harper. Nancy and Canzada have been confused by people and you can see why. The pose and what they are wearing are so similar. Lucky I have family researchers who knew WHO was WHO! I have couple of other photos of women who posed with their coat on.
Nancy was widowed during the Civil War as her husband Robert Harper join a Union Cavalry Unit in Alabama and died the same month my Great Grand Mother was born. Nancy never remarried. I wonder if it was because she didn't want to give up that huge $12 widows pension?
