This is a photo of my mother at my brother's wedding. (Dark purple and light blue with some silver thrown in were the wedding color according to my SIL.) This may go into the official wedding album if they want a 12 x 12 one. Otherwise I have another album for it... or maybe it'll go on the wall. Anyway, Mominka is a warped version of the word "maminka" which is one of the words for mom in Czech. My mother was Czech and had been able to speak it once upon a time, but in her later years, she could only translate the language. She never had to know how to spell it. We started spelling it this way and so it became her official title.

This is my entry in the NSD Sketch a Different Way! Challenge. I turned the sketch 90 degrees clockwise and mostly kept things the same... elongating a few things and moving the butterfly etc. My flourishes actually got glued down backwards and so I had to switch them at one point. The flourishes and the lattice were cut with my Silhouette SD. The stitching was done with help from a Bazzill template. My centering ruler helped me line up the pearls by Triveni Craft. The flowers are by Recollections and the the butterfly is a Dazzle sticker by HOTP. I colored it in with colored pencils and some glitter glue... the purple is by Studio G. The alphabet stickers are by Stickapotamus.

Ooops! Almost forgot to link to the sketch. That can be found here:
