This is very nice Tammy - you did a lot of work on the journaling and I love being able to read what the things are. Interesting story with the museum - thank you for sharing it. The replica of the grave slab is really neat! I've never seen one anything at all like that!

2015, Skye, Museum of the Isles

At Armadale Castle is a small Museum. The Lords of Armadale were Lords of the Isles in the medieval period. The Museum goes back from the beginning to the clearances - when some people emigrated to Canada. The photo with the Maple Leaf stamp is a set of bagpipes that was taken to Canada and returned by the descendants of the man who played them.
