Give a Cheer
Pictures from my trip to Israel in 2011. Journaling reads "We also stopped at the Southern Gate, which is where the steps going into the Temple Mount are. We sat there imagining that this is where Jesus walked. It is an actual recorded event in the Bible and we were sitting on those very steps almost 2,000 years later. That was so incredible and it has been moments like these that have brought the Bible to life for me on this trip and has helped renew and strengthen my faith."
the stones are actual stones from the steps that had broken off.
I colored the flowers using Distress ink and Perfect Pearls mist. I love the shimmer and shine it gives them. I also used the same technique on the wooden title.
