To Justowen: That was a great page with your Dad. I recently found a picture of my Dad in the 1930's on his motorcycle. I plan to enlarge it and then Iris fold a motorcycle on the top, frame it and send it to my younger brother. I didn't know that you could adhere that twine with the double sided tape. I learn something new every day from other's projects. Thank you.
These are pics of my dad. When I saw that I had both of these printed, I just had to scrap them together. The pic of him as a toddler is a scan I did of a large photo that was framed and hung on our living room wall during my childhood. The other pic is one I snapped at a get-together a few years ago.
I scrapped these for the MONTHLY SKETCH CHALLENGE - MAY (Week 1) using the sketch found here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/91338698668994836/
Instead of the circle on the sketch, I used a piece of clock paper as the background..kind of a circle/arc idea. LOL I made me twine border by applying 1/8" adhesive all around the page, then applied the twine in 3 rounds to cover the adhesive.
