Oh i didn't think its photo heavy at all! Just right!! It jumped right out of the gallery to me. I really like this LO and older photos are REALLY hard to work with. I think you nailed it!

1st Birthday

Photos from my DD's 1st birthday...many years ago...1977, to be exact! LOL! I struggle more with birthday layouts than anything else. This one is photo heavy, but I didn't want to make a 2 page layout. Balloons are die cuts using a die from Simon Says. The "birthday" and the presents are also a dies from Simon Says. I cut the balloons from watercolor paper and then added water color and some clear Wink of Stella for a little shine. Super quick layout! Journaling is tucked behind the top photo and just tells the who, what, when, and where info.
