When I knew that Karen (Roosterhead) & I were going to meet I wanted to make something extra special for her.

I used and 8x10 canvas & pulled out all my embossing folders. I layered the papers onto the canvas & inked with TH peacock feathers & dusty concord. I really didn't like the brightness of the colors so I sprayed it several times with HS color shine bronze. I added several pieces of cb: Gina Designs- the flourish & honeycomb, Leaky Shed-half circle upper left, Blue Fern Studios-flower thing bottom right. Added gesso to the pieces. I typed out the words, inked & glued onto the papers. I punched out some stars & added the TH piece with Karen's name in it. The embossing folders I used: TH-pocket watches, Cuttlebug-Juli's Garden, Gingham, Birds & Swirls, Divine Swirl, Organic Flourish, Textile, Floral Fantasy, Acanthus & Darice-Damask & Dandelions. Yes, she was thrilled to receive it & I was blessed by the shocked look on her face!:)) The gift that Karen gave to me is in her gallery posted July 3, 2014 if you want to check it out.
