Oh this is one beautiful tribute Artesha-did your brother like it?-I am so sure he did. So very sorry for your loss-he was so young--I just turned 60 myself this past June.....
This either brought tear of memories to your eyes, or rainbows of smiles when you did this beautiful tribute to your Dad, and your brother will love it!!
Oh my goodness, this has got to be the nicest gift for a sibling ever! I'm so very sorry for your dad's passing, prayers that time will heal the sorrow. I'm sure your brother will treasure this always. Beautiful memento.
Sorry for your loss. Wonderful memorial page. I like that you chose to use the neutral colors. Like the large date numbers and the pearls and of course the poem.
Artesia this is so beautiful and touching. What an amazing tribute to your father and a beautiful gift for your brother. My thoughts will be with you this Sunday.
Oh my gosh sweetie, that is a beautiful tribute LO and I love that poem. Your brother will love this. So sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad 9 years ago and I still haven't been able to bring myself to do a tribute LO of him. (((HUGS)))
Love your tribute to your daddy...it's warm and beautiful! Sorry for your pain. What a wonderful gift for your brother. Will be keeping you in thought and prayers for comfort and peace.
This is Beautiful, wonderful job scrapping this, I know it wasn't easy...wonderful poem and photo too. Was he a policeman? You and your family has served our country in so many ways and still doing so, praying they stay safe. Thanks for sharing this.
How beautiful and touching. I lost my dad in 1993 when he was 69 years old and I still miss him. Your tribute to him is so warm and sincere. I can tell you loved your daddy a lot. My prayers are you because I know it is difficult.
this is so poignant and beautiful. I too lost my Daddy but shortly after his 60th - they were far too young. You have my sympathy and my awe in doing this truly wonderful tribute.
Pictured is a photo of my daddy that was taken a few years ago. (unsure of the date, though) On Dec 4, 2014 (three weeks before his 60th birthday) the first man who loved me succumbed to cancer. Although I was a daddy's girl, my brother and my daddy had a very close relationship. I will frame this layout for my brother and send it to him for Father's Day. The poem reads, " I'll remember you in the colors of a sunset, in the comfort of my dreams, in the memory of a song. In the pages of a scrapbook filled with the pictures of your life, in the joy of thinking back to a time from long ago. In the places we discovered, in the moments that we shared, in the laughter that still dances in my heart. In the legacy of love you left for those who follow, and the stories that were only yours to tell. and always more than anything, I'll remember you in your love that still lives within my heart." The poem is a sticker that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I am submitting this layout for the June Sticker Challenge, the June Music Challenge, the 2015 Volume Challenge, the May/June Hoarders Challenge, the June Boys Only/Girls Only Challenge, and the June Four Categories Challenge. TFL and your sweet comments.
