Lo for a challenge on Rockin' Scrappin' Grands....we were to scrap a theme park. I have one photo of the kids and me (DH is taking the photo, you can see his shadow) at Universal Studios. I've decided to take some of my favorite photos and make 8x8 albums for my adult kids. Our DD in particular doesn't seem to want all my huge scrapbooks. (She got me into scrapping). So I've decided to take old favorite photos and make 8x8 albums.
the Story: In 1982 the Kellogg Co. teamed up with an airline with an amazing deal. If you saved so many box tops a child could fly free with a paying adult. We saved. We flew to California to stay with my college roommate.
She and her husband took us to Disneyland. It was really chilly that evening at the electric light parade. Ellie's husband bought us the Mickey Mouse sweatshirts.
This photo is us at Universal Studio. We should have left you at Ellie's. You were frightened of everything! First, Lurch from the tv show The Adams Family came over by the tram. I asked him not to, but he did anyway. Then, on the "Jaws" ride, the shark rose out of the water right by you! You scrambled over several people to get out of the way. I felt so sorry for you. It was supposed to be fun.
