I did this LO for the color challenge this month. I had planned to use a set of 4 small prints, but it just looked weird. I happened to have this picture on my desk, at the time and I really like it. Its just a snap shot of DD sitting on the slide taking a break while playing with her cousin in the yard, but there is something about the picture that I liked. HOWEVER! The slide was BRIGHT blue and it really overwhelmed the LO...so I printed the sepia and used pop dots to give the fussy cut color picture of DD to the forefront.

I really had fun with this LO. The idea to fold the paper was a lift from another LO.

Of course I put my own spin on it...She used ink and gesso to enhance her LO, but I just used a ton of fussy cut flowers and gems & enamel dots. Plus I just LOVE this hombre paper...don't you? TFL!
