This is a photo taken at my high school graduation.
I did this lo for the MONTHLY SKETCH CHALLENGE - JUNE, Week 3. The sketch can be found here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/91338698669217140/
I used a lot of things on here, because they reminded me of my grandmothers. The background paper makes me think of chicken wire and both of my grandmothers had chickens and I would help them gather eggs when I was little. The seed packet pp reminds me of the vegetable gardens my grandmothers grew and all the florals on this page remind me of the gorgeous flowerbeds they both had. I used the border punches, because those edges remind me of the doilies my grandmothers always had on their tables. The ribbon and pearls reminded me of the very lady-like way my grandmothers would dress for special occasions..or even when "just going to town." The "Remember This" tag reminds me of the newspaper clippings and other memorabilia my grandmothers kept with their photos and the fun hours spent going through those and having my grandmother explain what they each meant...I wish I had copies of those things and that I had paid closer attention to what my grandmothers told me about them.
