This layout is of a 4th or 5th cousins of my on my 2nd great-grandmother side of the family the Kohn line. Lydia's father and my 3rd great-grandfather were brothers. This means Lydia, was my 2nd great-grandmother's first cousin. Lydia, had a interesting life she fell in love with her first cousin and married him. They moved to another state for work and lived there their whole life. They had seven children together but when their children were grown and moved out of the house married and had families of their own. Lydia, and her husband decided the had to divorce because they realize they were living in sin. Because they were first cousin and closely related to each other. Lydia, probably never married again she is buried next to her youngest son. Her ex-husband did re-marry again. I think maybe the reason she never found love again. Maybe she still loved her ex-husband even if he was her first cousin. Or she could have been so shame to be in love with her first cousin. That she probably thought no man would want to be near her if they found out who she married. The picture I found on ancestry.com and printed it out. I just thought her story was interesting and how some families back in the day. They sometimes kept it all in the family by marrying cousins. So, royalty like Queen Victoria and her children weren't just marrying cousins in Europe royal houses. Normal everyday families sometimes did the same thing.
