I have a standing order with a guy at work to make basset and beagle cards for his mom and aunt. So I'm always on the look out for cute things to make cards with. Well Dearie Dolls Digi Stamps is a wonderful lady that draws and shares her talent for free. Around May she drew a Basset holding a flower which would have been perfect for mother's day but I saw it after I made her Mother's Day card. So I asked Mary Ellen if she could change the flower into a flag and she did. So even though he didn't ask for them I made him 4th of July cards to give to his mom and aunt. He loved giving it to them and they loved receiving them. That's why I make cards. Any who I decided to finish up the paper and make more to send out to my family and friends....since it is one of my favorite holidays! Since I don't make Christmas cards for myself anymore (to much stress since I'm making for others) I will probably be sending 4th of July and Fall cards out to Family and Friends to update them on our lives.
Well I have babbled on long enough! This is for the July Card Challenge - color category.
And yes, my wonderful husband colored him in photoshop. He rocks!
