I love the background and the embellishments. It's a totally awesome tribute page. I can so picture your son with a doggie in his sweatshirt, my youngest son used to carry our family cat (a kitten at the time) in his diaper. Ever see a toddler with a cat head poking out the top of a diaper and a tail or cat leg coming out of a leg hole...hilarious. Unfortunately, the photos I had of that got destroyed in a tornado in 2005. I am so adding this to my favorites.
Awww....this one goes straight to the heart! What a beautiful tribute to your "Pocket Puppy". Love the rainbow of colors and also how you incorporated the buttons. Beautiful page!
Your text brought tears to my eyes. I am so sorry for the loss of Picket Puppy. Your layout is a wonderful tribute to her and is so creative and beautiful. I love that you still have Indica!
Your Pocket Puppy girl is so adorable and precious! I 'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my Smiley a year ago May and I still miss him . My new dog Mack has been with me almost a year, and that helps a lot to get past the awfulness. Love the story , the use of thinlits, the colors, and embellies!
Really nice layout - but I loved reading the story. So sweet and how nice to have two dogs to love. I love that the registered name on the papers was Adams Christmas Wish. So sweet. Love the heart and all the buttons!
My sister breed Mini Dachshunds and then Mini-Pinschers. Her Elga had a litter of seven and one died. My nine year old son Adam loved the runt and my sister gave her to Adam for Christmas 1988. She was our only papered pet and on her papers the name is "Adam's Christmas Wish". He loved her and took her everywhere often in his sweatshirt pocket. She was then only called "Pocket" or "Pocket Puppy"! After a couple of years Adam said I want a big dog and I told him she was your pet for life and eventually he got a big dog "a beautiful blonde Pit Bull called "Indica" who moved in with us when he was 21 old and he said she would would only be there for a couple of weeks. He moved out when he was 28 and Indica is now an old girl of 15! Pocket Puppy died when she was 15 1/2 years old and I still miss her. She loved to go in the car and jumped in the back window so she could see everything. She was only 10" tall and was always such a sweet dog! This is for the July Pet and Round Robin Challenges! Thanks for your words of encouragement!
