Well folks, I really struggled with this one but in the end I think I like the simpleness of it! I know I love the color scheme of red, white and black! It took me days of going back and forth choosing papers. I knew I wanted to use the tuxedo paper but I didn't care for the position of it on the original piece. It was on the left side with the music on the right side. I cut it down to place in the middle and just used pieces of the music paper randomly.

This is my youngest son, Daniel, taken on Graduation Night 2010 when my oldest, Samuel, was graduating. The concert band always plays at the graduation ceremony and I thought he looked so handsome in the tux. (For some reason, he doesn't like the picture!)

I embellished on the buttons that were on the tux by using a pretty trim I got at Hobby Lobby in the upholstery section! The white stuff under the picture is actually a jar lid gripper pad I got at the dollar store! The frame was cut on my Cricut from a fish sticks box and the nameplate was a fruit snacks box! I used the Creative Memories Reminisce cartridge. On the frame, I just inked it in with Tim Holtz Black Soot distress ink pad and then spread Glossy Accents and sprinkled Clear Chunky Glitter Glass from Reneabouquets! I love that look. The feathers are from Hobby Lobby as well as the clocks (The Paper Studio Spare Parts) and resin lanterns. My best friend gave me the treble clefs and I inked them in a bit with Tsukineko Dew Drops in Brilliance Platinum.

The flourishes are Mambi Sticks and the notes I think are from Jolee's Boutique but I'm not certain about that!
The tux paper is Art Warehouse by Danelle Johnson
The argyle paper is DCWV
The white with silver swirls is American Crafts cardstock
The red border paper is Colorbok Rosewood Paper Pack.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I appreciate all the comments and votes! xo
