Love the story, I know the "need" for a certain paper. What a great layout to honor family favorites! Love the paper, it was worth the wait! The bric-brac is perfect for the vintage feel!
Ok, I just love this LO! I love all things vintage, I collect recipes, and I make scrap quilts. And the grandma's flower garden "quilt" blocks at the bottom of your LO are NOT easy to do. Sewing hexagons can be a weeny.
Wow two great recipes.....and i love them both. I also love your use of the graphic 45 papers. Great job. Love that punched border and the Happiness is Homemade card. Great job Cathe!!!
You did a great job on the challenge. Both recipes are very similar to the way I make meatloaf and potato salad. I love the Graphic. 45 papers! Nice punching too!
This is a challenge from JoJo in rockin' Scrappin' Grans. We were to design a lo about one or more of our recipes. I chose my meatloaf and potato salad. The challenge was for July, but I had many roadblocks to overcome before I could do this. One was that I HAD to have this Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home paper. Of course that meant ordering it. The punch is Martha Stewart. All the papers are the Home Sweet Home collection. It was fun to do. I do garnish my potato salad if I am having company....and put it in a clean bowl. LOL
