My great-grandmother and her 4 children. My grandmother is the younger girl and guessing what her age was in the photo I am figuring it to be from c. 1895. The oldest daughter Althea never married and died of cancer at a young age. The older boy is Peter whom I remember meeting when I was quite young. I was named after his wife whom I adored. She was a children's book editor for Charles Scribner and an anthology she edited was one of my favorite books. The younger son Charles wanted to be an actor and changed his name to one he thought would help him more.
This was for Round 36 of the Inspiration Challenge - I started it weeks ago but didn't get it done till yesterday. I was given Dollscrap's beautiful lo Once Upon a Time to lift. As always her work is truly inspiring.
This also turned out to be a stash buster - I used quite a few embellies that have been hanging around waiting to be used and now they have been. I even salvaged a ribbon tag from a new item of clothing.
