As per Donna's instructions for the Scrap Your Favs Challenge, I went to my favorites with this photo in hand and found Jan's (Memoriesofmygirls) By The Sea layout. I have had these nautical Maja Design papers for ages, of course too beautiful to use. I already had the prima resin shells so went to work lifting Jan's design. All of the papers used were Maja Design except the anchor paper, not sure what that is. Loved that my daughter wore her anchor sweater :)

We have vacationed in Rhode Island for 30 years. Every morning we look out to Block Island to see what the day's weather will be; if we can see the buildings on Block, it will be a gorgeous day. Every year, on the drive home, we say, "we should have gone out to Block." We had been years ago, before kids, but this was the first time we took the kids.

We were on the ferry to Block Island on a perfect New England summer day. DD does not like her messy hair, but I love it!! While on Block Island, we rented bikes and rode around, shopped and had lunch. The entire time, my son, who was suffering some pain from emerging wisdom teeth, was really lethargic. On the ferry home, he fell asleep, when he awoke, he said he felt so tired and groggy. I pulled the advil my husband had purchased that morning out of my backpack only to discover he had mistakenly bought advil pm. My poor son had taken 2 doses during the day, no wonder he couldn't stay awake!! Sometimes I feel like my life is a sit-com!!
