My daughter and her dorm-mates are moving into a suite this year. They wanted to decorate in a nautical theme with white, navy blue, and bubble gum pink for their colors. She asked me to make four 12 x 12 wall hangings. I started with four plain 12 x 12 canvases. I painted white and bubble gum pink stripes by measuring and carefully marking two inch lines. (don't forget painter's tape if you make these. It makes painting without smudging over your two inch lines much easier.) I found the nautical shapes from Silhouette designs and cut them out with my Silhouette Cameo. Then we just used an adhesive to bond the nautical shapes to the canvases. My daughter and her roommates love them! I'm pretty proud of them, too!
