For the topic of using messy stuff. The background and limb/leaves are painted with Distress paints. The owl is paper pieced and colored with watercolor pencils. I put some vellum over the clouds to soften them a little. The clouds are dies from Joy!crafts. The owl stamp is from Hot Off the Press. The leaves are dies from Impression Obsession.
