Dgd with one of our favorite sculptures during a visit to the Clark Museum a few weeks ago. The sculpture is amazing - the skirt, the vest,, her hair and her slippers are all real items that he incorporated into the piece. Dgd, imitated her fourth position pose but couldn't quite hold the focused expression.
For Team 2 Week 2 of August Round Robin. I lifted Scrapanda's Could I Have This Dance. The twist was celebration - I chose these photos for that theme as we were celebrating Art.
I used so much old, old, very old, stash - the pink pps are Autumn Leaves are from 2007. The newest items are the black flowers, from last year.
For some reason the two pink pps didn't quite math even though they were in the same group so I misted the border one to make it a little pinker. I also traced the edge onto the grey pp to repeat the design.
