I am so sorry about your kitty. They worm their way into our hearts and stay there. I hope you find comfort in the joy she gave. I lost my 17 year old Persian this year, and my heart still aches for him. God bless. Joyce
Oh Linda, I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious fur-baby Daphne. They trample your heart with their paws and personality, and saying "goodbye" is a heartbreak. I've lost three of my cats in the last two years, all old gals, and I miss them terribly, but I know I will see them again one day as you will Daphne!! Such a beautiful tribute to her!!
I am so sorry for your loss, my Smiley went over the rainbow bridge over a year ago, and it was very hard for us. So I understand how you feel. Prayers and hugs.
Oh honey, I'm so sorry for your little furbaby! I know the pain in loosing one of our four legged kids, it is one of the hardest things we have to go thtough.I can see Lil Daphne running around up in heaven, free of pain and climbing trees, chasing Lil mice around & around! Remember all of the good & wonderful years you were able to share with her! Feel my hugs around you. What a wonderful poem you have shared with us.
So sorry for your loss my friend. You've honored Daphne with this beautiful tribute and a place in your heart and special book of memories. Special hugs, Joyce
Linda, I am so sorry for your loss. Our pets are family and mean the world to us. This is a beautiful write up about Daphne and I am sure she will be greatly missed. There is a very nice web site about the loss of a pet, it is called Rainbow Bridge, check it out if you get a chance. It was very helpful to me a few years ago when I lost my dear Ebony...
Yesterday August 24, 2015, my husband and myself had to make the decision on the Vet's advice to let her go. Although a painful experience she went peacefully. She has had a wonderful spoiled life with two loving parents a Dad that was best buddies with each other. Daphne knew when it was time for her treats and sat there looking at her Dad until he played enough and gave some to her. She loved to wait at the top of the stairs for someone to get up and feed her then sat in front of the pantry door waiting. She was a beautiful in color, soft loving cat. We will surely miss her but we did what was best. I had her front paws placed in a disk of white clay with her name and they added a heart. Rene did keep her favorite toys---the beat up mice.
She is in kitty heaven with all our other cats and will make new friends I am sure.
