Hi everyone! I have been planning and working on this layout for close to a week and finally finished it today. This is a picture of me at about three years old in a dress my sweet mama made for me. It took me quite awhile to decide on papers and with the help of my best friend, this is what I came up with. Lavender has always been my favorite color and over the past few years I love it with aqua.
Gobs of stuff to look at! I used two buttons from my mama's button tin to make it a little more special; the clear crystal button just above the lower key and title and the cloisonne button at the bottom. It is a bit hidden by the flowers.
Did a lot of inking edges of everything, distressing, punching, embossing, masking and fussy cutting.
Buttons I used in the floral cluster came from our local antique mall, with the exception of the pearl flower button in the corner of the chair came from our friend Brandy (Jellybean). Also from Brandy are the pearl strands used along the lace edge and wrapped around the spools that she gave me. The little hanger and mini clothespins are also from her. Thank you Brandy. The lace and birdcage (Gina's Designs) is from Melissa (Scraphouse). I rubbed some Versamark Watermark stamp pad on it and used Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder that I got from Reneabouquets. On the masking I used homemade texture paste from a Gabrielle Pollacco tutorial. After it dried I inked it in with my Color Box chalk inks in purple and teal colors.
I made the eggshell mosaics (also from a Gabi tutorial) awhile back and felt they matched the background paper perfectly so I put those to use. The resin clock faces in those are from GoneArtsy.Zibbet.com as well as the beautiful rhinestone and pearl embellishment under the hanger. That gal has the most beautiful laces and embellishments for a very reasonable price and she sent me the most beautiful peacock hair clip as a gift!
The "Hope" chippie is from Unique Laser Designs, where I had a spot as a Guest Designer last winter. I used the Versamark on it as well and Stampendous Shabby White embossing powder.
On the other wooden spool I wrapped some pretty lavender ribbon around it I've had in my stash for years and then used some Ranger liquid pearls.
The spoon is from my dear friend, Marylou (Meggie's Nana) and I added Renea's Chunky Glitter Glass in Dark Purple and also on the paper next to it. The scissors, aqua flower and gorgeous butterflies are also from Reneabouquets.
The pretty clock with roses I got from Pinterest and is in my Pleasing Printables folder at: https://www.pinterest.com/eapipkin/pleasing-printables/ I have gobs of awesome printables so feel free to check them out!
Other items not listed on site:
