What a darling LO! You're right, there are so many things that will be forgotten. I guess that is why we scrap--hoping things that were important to us, will be remembered.
I loved reading your description Betsey. It is so....right on! I am amazed at how young children seem to adapt and conquer today's technology at such a young age. Beautiful picture of Lilly with her mommy. Love all the vintage things you added to the page, especially the library card!
This is Allyson, mydgd, and her dd Lilly, my dggd and its a photo of Lilly doing her word games on Allys cell phone. I watched her move things around push buttons etc...and realized that this is truly a whole different world for children. I love watching her with technology.....she knows the language and will never struggle with all that i do these days. However it also crossed my mind that there are things she will never know about either,.....things that were very important in my life...just little things but things!!!!!! This is a page to honor some of the little things Lilly will probably never use or know unless I live long enough to tell her about them. LOL (I made this page just in case ) I hope you see my humor here....LOL
I used old K and Company paper kind of old fashioned floral.....then went through all of my varios stash of vintage stuff and this is what I came up with. BTW Lilly will not be three until October.....this photo was in February of 2015 .........She was just two years and four months old.
