Give a Cheer
Isn't she super cute? My friend has a blog called RaisingWhasians.com My friend is Korean and her husband is Caucasian (Irish/Italian). So her blog is just a peek into their lives and how they try to expose their very American children to their cultures. These are pictures from a photo shoot they did with Bethany wearing a traditional hanbok (dress). I just loved the pictures so much I asked her if I could scrap them. I think I will try to also do a LO of her son and then give both of these to her for Christmas.
I struggled with this LO. First of all its hard to find Korean themed scrapbook supplies. So my friend lent me some "generic" Asian themed papers...she is the best. I was a little stumped as to what I wanted to do, but then I got inspired by a card I saw here in the gallery. It used the bold colored hexagons and splatter technique I used. I have never don't that splatter thing before....is to supposed to make a giant mess or did I do it wrong? I got pain all over me and the table (& the floor, haha).
For the Adhesive Challenge: I used glues sticks and foam squares and foam tape.
