That's amazing that you actually got to see it in bloom....although I'm sure it wasn't very fragrant! Nice use of the Oddities papers and embellishments. That is definitely an oddity-type flower.
for the halloween challenge. I used washi tape and bling (on the flower, and butterfly). Perfect layout for Halloween. I got to witness the rare blooming a a huge tropical flower, known as the corpse flower because it smells like rotting meat. (believe it or not, the plant wants to attract flies to pollinate it.) I used some of the papers from the graphic 45 collection, rare oddies, as well as some from my stash. (Tim Holtz Laboratory paper was hoarded and Background paper is Sanctuary. Chipboard piece, also hoarded.)
