What a beautiful baby and I love this picture! So peaceful! I think you scrapped it beautifully - the gold foil title is stunning. The camera didn't do it justice but I can tell that it is beautiful gold foil. This is precious - I love it!
I think it looks so pretty, the gold title looks great I love the pink behind it.. It may be more balanced to have the trim go the whole page. I think you have a great design. I know what you mean when you feel like your vision for the page is not what you wanted but the result you created is awesome. She is also adorable
You are too hard on yourself. Your LO is wonderful and so pretty. The ruffles is so creative and I love how you placed the sequins and pearls. I love it.
This is adorable. I love what you did with the background. Love your flowers and tiny accents. And the photo is just precious. Makes you want to kiss those little cheeks. Lovely job.
you're crazy! this is so sweet and gorgeous. the only improvement I would make?/ add what you used in the comments as journaling! she would love to hear those words when she grows up. Tuck it away in a tag somewhere! My daughter recently looked through an old album I made for her and I caught her tearing up at the journaling. So worth adding!
DD sleeping as a baby (1 month old?). I see so much in this picture. #1 She has always been a good sleeper. Like her momma. #2 I love that sweet little red V you can see in her forehead (now you can only see it when she is REALLY upset or going #2). #3 Her eyes are big even when they are closed...she got them from my MIL. #4 She has my Grandmother's lips. They are beautiful even with out a smile, but when you do get a full (natural) smile---> Wow! #5 She was so squishy... I called her "sturdy." Which makes me laugh now because she is so strong. Not physically (she kind of a wimpy kid), but emotionally. She is a sturdy kid and can/will put you through the ringer if you let her. haha Oh all this baby stuff is in the past now. Now she is my big girl. It went by so fast (just like "they" said it would).
I am not in love with this LO. I just don't think I do minimalist very well. It doesn't help that in this photo you can't see that the title is gold foil and there is lots of gold ink surrounding the photo (next to the pink ink). I did this for the Music Challenge. I was assigned "Crimson Day" by Avenged Sevenfold. The lyrics I uses are "Lie in my arms, sleep secure. I wonder what you're dreaming of, Lands near and far, A timeless flight to reach the stars."
For the adhesive Challenge I used Glue sticks, glue dots, and foam squares.
