My daughter was taking pictures of the Christmas decorations going up while I was putting lights on a tree. 20 years ago when I started lighting this tree, I was much smaller and I could reach it much more easily. Lately, I actually throw the light to get them where I want them. DD snapped a pic at dusk just as a threw them and started us off on a fun adventure with Christmas lights, a camera, and long exposure shots.
For the gallery inspiration round 39 - I was given this amazing LO as inspiration: I don't think I really did it justice, but just didn't have the right photo for it.
For the silhouette challenge, the light string, poinsettia, and holly leaves are from the store.
