At last...The first layout made in my new Craft Palace! :-) And the first I've made in nearly 3 months since I was so busy getting my craft space organized and everything put away! I have entered this in the Home For The Holiday with Reneabouquets Contest since I used several of her products on this layout. As best as I can figure, this picture was taken in the 20s or 30s. I asked all my siblings and my eldest cousin but they weren't sure about it either. I compared it to a couple other pictures I have and I feel it is closer to being in the 20s. Anyway, I had a blast putting this together although it took me awhile for my mojo to come back!

The brown "paper" with the tooled look is actually fabric I've had for years and it is sueded. I got it to cover a footstool that my son, Sam, made for me in high school. I had plenty left over for projects and felt this was a good match. I stabilized it with heavier cardstock underneath it.

Reneabouquets products: All the Cluny lace (including flowers I handmade), butterflies (of course!), rose buttons on the lace flowers (I inked those in a little with a Sharpie paint metallic pen in Copper Rose because the flowers were more magenta), the intricate blank cabochon to which I cut out the flowers paper, glued in and used Dimensional Magic in, the resin flourishes (these were white and I painted them in also), and the Prima metal clockface.

The pretty pendant at the top (looks like ivory) is Hobby Lobby's Gilded Age Timeline. The pendant in the middle of the Cluny lace is also from Hobby Lobby as well as the metal corners that I also painted.

The peach droplet at the top of the pendant is from Joann's and came in a set.

The resin clock, gem/rhinestone embellie on the large lace flower and pearl/rhinestone setting are from Gone Artsy.

The biblical scripture stamps are from Close To My Heart - Look to the Light

Things I used on this layout that were hoarded: The brown fabric, the Reneabouquets butterflies, the pendants, bird and rose stickers, the pearl buttons, metal buttons and bling flourishes.

Thank you so much for stopping by my gallery. I really appreciate all the wonderful comments.

I have also entered this in the November Heritage Challenge!
