Really like the strip journaling for this. Great that you documented a typical day... however hectic the activities may have been. Really like the layered elements in the bottom left corner.
Love how you journaled the everyday moments while using a photo from Halloween, great page...But take it from me it's all worth it and will pay off, the little ones grow up too fast so enjoy every moment!
I remember the days of working and having little ones but not with a husband in school. That takes busy and more responsibility to a whole new level! That is good that he is getting his education though - everyone will benefit when he graduates. And he can be very proud of his accomplishment. My husband got the end of his bachelor's program in while he had a family and he tells me it was very difficult. I love the layout and the way you listed out what you did. That really shows just how much you do - and you do this every day. Some day you will look back on this one, in a lot of years when your family is grown and you are retired and think to yourself, "How did I ever do all this?"
Journaling Reads: "DH has been in school longer than DD has been alive. He works 50 hours a week an comes home and study's all night most nights. Sometimes it's tough to balance family time and normal household responsibilities. Tonight was a good night. I cam home after working my 40hr/week job and....
-Let Sunny out -Started Meatloaf in the oven -Started a load of laundry -Played with Sunny in the yard -Tided the house -Prepped the veggies to go into the oven -Swapped the laundry & started another load -By then DD & DH were home [[HUGS!!]] -We ate dinner -I cleaned the kitchen (2 days worth of mess) -Swapped the laundry again -Folded Laundry while DD painted pictures -Put DD in the tub & cleaned her bathroom while she played in there -Got in a little cuddle time after putting on jammies & brushing teeth -Read 3 bedtime stories form the library & put DD to bed -Took Sunny for a walk -Finished folding laundry while watching one of our shows after DH was done with homework -Flossed, brushed, jammies, bed. A typical night
October has been particularly busy. ALMOST SCARY busy. Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. We both have a lot of responsibilities in and outside the home. But our #1 most important task is to be a family. We do try to spend as much time together as possible...and with family and friends too. We make it work... These are the best days of our lives."
