Absolutely one of the best Christmas collages EVER!!! I love the Santa on the mountain of presents. So darn cute. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
What an awesome idea Lisa - I love your title on the right - very catchy. This just really gives all the month's highlights and its nice and clean. All of these pictures depict the Christmas season for your family so well - and I'm glad you included some dance photos! This will be a nice compliment to your more detailed dance and family albums! Love it!
For 2009, I'm doing the Album in a Year project from Amanda Probst's column in the 2008 issues of CK Magazine. This is my version of the December project. You can see Amanda's version for '07 on her blog at http://amandaprobst.squarespace.com/. You can see my other finished LO's for this project in my gallery in my 2009 Album and Month LO's album: '09 Month by Month; January - I Predict; February - 10 Things I LOVE this Month; March - As Luck would have it; April - By the Numbers; May - Faces of May; June - We Were Here; July - What We'll Remember; August - These Photos; September - Lessons Learned; October - TIMEpieces; November - Daily Thanks; ...and that's what happened in a year. I am finally finished with this project.
I downloaded the title from Amanda as a pdf file and printed it on my cardstock.
The LO is about the holiday card I sent that year. The subtitle says 'reconnecting at year's end...' The card is on the right. Underneath it says, "I didn't include a letter in my holiday cards this year - just a collage I made of Cassie's photos and short hand-written notes." One of the 3x5 collages I used is on the lower left. The rest of the photos are left overs from throughout the year.
This is my example for my December Four Categories Challenge - Category Four ~ Theme: Holiday Music. My title is a lyric from the Christmas song 'Do You Hear What I Hear?' For the doodling twist, I drew a pair of messy parallel lines around the entire LO and filled between them with red Stardust pen.
This is for the December Music Challenge - Lyrics. I have a chipboard snowflake for the twist. There are also snowflakes on the cream pp behind the card.
I fussy cut the Santa & presents out of an old Christmas card.
