Gorgeous photos. You did a really good job of splitting them down the middle of the two pages. I can never quite bring myself to do any LO's that call for that as part of the design. I'm afraid I'd mess it up. I like the road trip tag and the added twine on it.
I just love the scenery! My Auntie lives in the Yukon and she lived in Dawson for awhile so would often go up on the Alaska highway - similiar views to these gorgeous photos
I love looking at your Alaska pictures! They are beautiful and great grid design with the pictures being in the middle and the title, journaling and embellishment on the sides!
That tag with the old car is classic! And the photos - Alaska is so beautiful! What a nice trip that had to have been! I like the grid pattern with both sides balanced. Makes for a lovely 2-pager! Nice color selection for the photos too!
DH surprised me by suggesting we take a mini road trip down the Seward Highway. It was a beautiful day in June 2000. The waterfalls were coming down and there was snow in the mountains. We drove to Portage Valley and checked out the lakes and Six Mile River. We went through the tunnel and stopped to look at Portage Glacier. There was quite a few icebergs in the lake. The other surprise was we went through the new tunnel to Whittier. The next LO shows that. Thanks for looking.
