(98) Run Run Rudolph

DD's favorite song this year. Every time she heard it she would run around all over the place as fast as she could. She said she was Rudolph. So when she and Daddy got to spend all day together on Wednesday the 23rd I put pig tails on top of her head and painted her nose with my 12 hour stay lipstick (which managed to last about 28 hours). They spend the day driving around town delivering poinsettias to family and friends. A tradition DH and I have done on and off throughout the years. Hopefully next year we will have poinsettias from our own garden. That's the plan at least.

The picture is from that night when we went out to see the Christmas lights. I DH was trying to get the settings right on the camera when he took this picture. Its not on the right setting and the lights are blurry, but I just love her giant eyes in this picture. So I scrapped it. TFL. Hope you like it too.

I was really excited to use all the neon punches over black, but I didn't want it to be boring, so I lifted the idea of the diamonds. Of course I don't have any fancy punches like that, so I had to figure out the math and cut them all by hand. I made 5 of each paper pattern and then realized I still needed more. At this point I was getting tired of cutting diamonds, so I made two giant ones the sixe of 4 of them put together. I actually like the contrasting sizes in there. So my lesson from this LO is to be creative and don't get stuck on one idea.
