Put these off for a bit to order some paper. For the background I attached tissue paper with gesso. Then I used the tim holtz cargo stamp with translucent texture paste. then I sprayed with some old scrapbooking society spray ink and wiped the excess off of the letters.I printed a map of the metro and distressed it. the stamps are from autumn leaves but no longer in the store.

Journaling
Our first day in Washington, we were kept very busy. The kids created a commercial for NASA tv, we had several presentations and a tour around the massive Goddard Space Center. By the evening I was exhausted. The kids seemed to have limitless energy so we agreed to take them into the city to meet some friends who had moved there a few years ago and to do some sightseeing. We took the Metro, a first for most of the kids.
In D.C. we met Caitlyn, Chris and Christina at Fuddruckers. Of course, the kids loved the oversized burgers and fries. Then we wondered around the city taking in the sights. I have to admit I wasn't the most pleasant person because I was insanely exhausted. I didn't get very many photos for the same reason. Not to mention I really clashed with one of the other mothers. Luckily, the kids still had a great time and got to see the sights of D.C. at night.
