DD and I went to see the musical in NYC. The background is from 2006, was self-adhesive; but when I pulled it off the backing, the adhesive stayed on the backing--so I used gesso to adhere, but also like the blending to soften the background; also used SU ink--still have all my 1" squares from 2005.
