Wonderful LO in design. First true loves, wow, so hard, been there with both of my daughters and in a few years I will be dealing puppy love with my grand-daughters!
The first of many boyfriends for that beautiful girl - you can't fully appreciate 'the one' until you've survived the 'not the ones' ... Good for her for kicking him to the curb!
What a strong girl you have! I appreciate you sharing her story with us - I think most of us have been there and it's never pretty. However, it was still part of her life. LOL at the title - so perfect! I am amazed at how you pair up pp. It's always so fun to look at!
Awwww! Poor Madi! But I agree about scrapping the bad as well as the good. Life isn't always wonderful and sharing how we make it through the bad times will help our future family members understand how to get through those tough times. GREAT page and LOVE the title!
So hard to deal with at that age but I say "good riddance"! Her broken heart will not last for years like it would if they had stayed together. I bet this is one memory she will be saying, yea, good move (on her part) ..... years from now!
It's so hard when they're that age but I give her major props for calling it off. That takes a strong woman to get out of a toxic relationship. His loss! Fabulous LO. All kinds of great elements and love the title.
This are the things that makes us stronger and prepared us for what is ahead. It's good that she broke up with him. And yes, it's good your scrapped it. After all it's life.
Love it ..I know the felling so well my although a little different story my daughter's first love at 15 lasted for almost 2 years and she was devastated when it ended and that is the worst feeling for a MOM to see there child hurting and can do nothing about it ...it took her about 2 years to get completely over it I did a scrapbook for her of all their pictures they took so many I keep she has had several more boyfriends her relationships tend to last at least 2 years or longer the one she is with now they have been together over 2 years and they seem to be in it for the long haul ...lol she is 24 now .Love the heart and the title !
It's difficult to scrapbook things like this and I tend to shy away from it. I commend you for doing so. Once again, a very nice layout you created. That is a great title for this story.
Wonderful layout and one she will want to look back on. She sounds like a smart girl to finally break if off with him but even when that happens, it still hurts. Some pieces mama just can't pick up and when you child is hurt it is such a helpless feeling. When they were younger we could fix anything! It's really a shame he treated your daughter this way but she will really breathe a sigh of relief when she meets a nice guy who treats her well. I'm sorry she had to go through this.
This was definitely a rough subject to scrap about, but it does happen in life. We just don't want it to happen to our babies. Sigh. Great photos and I love the way you fit all of the photos on the page! Wonderful title, too!
A heart-breaking story and one that happened to my own dd just before some really important exams. 13 years on, they are still in touch with each other, but she has found a man (or he has found her) who is a million times sweeter, kinder and more loving - and definitely worth waiting for. This too shall pass. Good for you for scrapping this - but maybe hide it for a year or two!
This one we really hard to do. Felt like I was reliving seeing my baby so hurt. I do feel like it's important to scrap the bad stuff also. This was her first real boyfriend so I'm sure she'll want to look back on these one day.
Journaling is tiny and super hard to read
Madison and Jojo- I actually introduced them. He’s the brother of a kid on Tyler’s football team. They seemed to hit it off right away and started dating soon after. Unfortunately, he seemed to lose interest during Christmas break and blew her off the whole week they were off. When they finally did set up a date he canceled to spend time with friends. That was the last straw and Madi broke up with him. She soon found she missed him and tied to make it up. He strung her along for a bit until she finally said enough was enough. I kept telling her that one day he’ll be writing poems about her called the one that got away! Truthfully, he really wasn’t a nice guy and was forever trying to make her jealous by posting pics of his female “friends” on social media. She’s better off without him but that’s hard to tell a broken hearted 15 year old!
I tried to get as many pics as I could on one page. Didn't want to have to do too manyof these!
