Your flowers are beautiful and what a great husband you have! That blue fish is pretty, looks like quite the market. I thought the one in Budapest was awesome but this one is too!
OMG. I remember that market when we were there for our honeymoon in '99. I was bummed to have found it so late in our trip, but it was amazing. I am so glad you were able to take full advantage of it and enjoy their amazing assortment of flowers. Your arrangement is gorgeous and I bet the cabin smelled wonderful with the ginger. Awesome pictures Henri!
Dang...jewelry and flowers??? You must be the greatest wife ever and married to the best husband ever too!!! Those flowers are stunning and so tropical. I love markets. You really get a sense of a place from them. The blue parrot fish is interesting. I love to see them while snorkeling but for eating???
From there we wandered past all the fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables to the area where they sold fresh flowers. Bill bought me the largest arrangement they had – it was HUGE! It has several bird of paradises and ginger and other tropical flowers. He also bought a pretty bouquet of flowers to take to Jan.
We took my beautiful Tahitian flowers to our cabin and then went by Jan's cabin to give her the flowers we bought for her. From there, Bill, Jan and I went upstairs and had a hamburger by the pool. We barely got through eating when it was time for Bill and me to play trivia with our mid-afternoon team.
